During EngFest 2022, Dr. Niamh Shaw hosted two panels of engineers from all walks of life to talk about their experience in the sector and the path they took. One of these talks was targeted toward female students and the other for mixed, but each panelist has their own unique story and insights that could help you on your journey to becoming and Engineer.
Dr Niamh Shaw hosted an engaging and informative panel discussion with scientists and engineers from STEM industries from the South East region, for groups of TY and senior cycle students. The talk features panelists from Lighthouse Studios, Advanced Security, The Environmental Protection Agency, Red Mills and Teagasc.
This Careers Event took place during National Science Week 2021 and was organised in partnership with both It Carlow and WIT. The event is aimed at Transition Year and senior cycle students.
Toys4Engineers 2021 – Making a Better World
This talk took place at the Toys4engineers festival in 2021 and features speakers from a range of different engineering and tech companies in the southeast. This talk features Green Party MEP; Grace O’Sullivan, Director at Calmast; Eoin Gill, a number of speakers from Red Hat Software and Stephen Rooney from Engineering the South East.
