Cyber Security Programme
Audience: TY – Secondary School
In partnership with State Street, Cyber Ireland, Stryve Secure, Security Risk Advisors (SRA), Sun Life, UKG, we are delighted to offer 20 TY classes from across the South East to participate in a 5 week Cyber security schools programme. The programme is delivered by SETU Cyber Security lecturer James Egan and CALMAST, SETU’s STEM Engagement centre.
The programme will show TY students what Cyber Security is, and the many career opportunities available in this new and exciting field.
The programme consists of a visit to the participating school by a Cybersecurity professional to explain about the world of Cybersecurity in January 2025. A series of problem solving cyber security activities will be provided that are carried out in school for 1 hour per week for 5 weeks starting in January.
Participating teachers will be fully guided with activities and PowerPoints that include voiceovers from Cyber professionals and University lecturers.
