Free Family Arts Workshops, November 16th and 17th 

As part of Science Week 2024 SETU and Waterford Spraoi are delighted to present family friendly workshops at Spraoi Studios, Carrickpherish.

Families are invited to join Spraoi artists for a fun filled participatory workshop around the theme of ‘Regeneration’. Certain aquatic creatures such as the ‘immortal jellyfish’ , salamanders, axolotls, and starfish can to varying degrees ‘regenerate’. Inspired by these marvels of nature Spraoi artists and participating families will create colourful artworks together. This is a shared learning experience and no prior scientific or creative expertise is required.

We have more good news – your completed artworks will be displayed at SETU Main Campus Atrium. This family weekend activity is free (booking is required) and is open to individuals/families including children 10 years or over.

We have one special request,  if you book but for whatever reason cannot attend please let us know. We can release your ticket to others who may be free to attend. Thank you.
